Short Forks, undo damper and top fork nut, drain oil, cut 2 inches off spring clean up leaving a nice flat edgeon both spring pieces, put short bit on bottom with rebound spring ,put back together reoil and presto really short 39mm fork's that still rebound without going clunk........ sorted.
